The Stage 1 and 2 Bushwalk took place in the beautiful Mambray Creek area of Mount Remarkable National Park from Wednesday the 29th of July to Friday the 31st of July. Over the 3 days the students walked over 30km through creeks and gorges and to the top of The Battery which has 180o views over towards the Eyre Peninsula. They couldn’t have asked for better weather with bright sunny days and fresh nights and plenty of kangaroos, emus, kookaburras and monitors getting around. The camp games around the fire at night provided plenty of entertainment as did the night walk to the Old Beroota Cemetery.
