This year’s end-of-term swimming lessons included introductory session on resuscitation with students learning procedures for emergency scenarios and practicing basic techniques with resuscitation dummies. Snorkelling has been a favourite activity this term, with students mastering cleaning, clearing and safely swimming underwater.
The older classes also constructed improvised rafts for rescuing incapacitated swimmers. The students performed this task well, making excellent use of pool noodles and ropes. Thank you to Jodie and Shirley for all your work with our students this year.
