The Year 3/4 are investigating different ways fans can be made as part of their STEM unit on Chinese inventions.

We started with simple origami style fans then adapted our folding techniques to make a more complex version of a decorative fan.

The fan was made in three sections with students selecting appropriate colour combinations, measuring, cutting, folding and gluing the five components together.
The class then presented and demonstrated their fans at the school assembly.
