Year 6-10 classes have been investigating film. They’ve shot short scenes using storyboards for guides, created storyboards for scripts, learned how to use different shots to tell a story and experimenting with music, sound effects and dialogue in their work. They are currently planning a longer film that will be shot in and around Maitland. Students have proved skilful camera operators, actors and editors, producing professional looking pieces. They have also practised critiquing their own and other students’ work. The shots below are from a 9/10 film called ‘The Meeting’.
