Earlier this term the Year 11 PE class completed a three day kayak along the East coast of the Peninsula between Port Vincent and Black Point.
Camping was done at Port Julia where the boys showed off their culinary skills on the BBQ and we enjoyed roast potatoes on the fire.
The trip was abundant with wildlife including seals, stingrays and dolphins.
Bella managed to have a swim on the first day (unintentionally) and they all had a great time with the weather being magnificent.
The learning outcomes from this trip were centred around the biomechanical principles of long distance paddling and energy conservation.
