Welcoming four-legged friends into the classroom is a growing trend and CYS is lucky to have Addie visit once per fortnight.
Since coming on site, we have seen significant benefits for students including an increase in conversations between students across year levels, a calming effect on dysregulated students and students taking on a responsibility role in caring for Addie during break times.
Both students and teachers look forward to seeing Addie at school each fortnight!
