7/8 Technology | Wooden Stools

Year 7/8 Technology students designed and built wooden stools as part of their practical learning program. The project involved measuring, cutting, sanding, and assembling timber components, developing precision and problem-solving skills. Students also learned about design processes, teamwork, and safe workshop practice. As their projects progressed, they gained confidence in working with tools and saw their designs take shape. The activity demonstrated how creativity, planning, and practical skills can come together to produce a useful finished product.
