Primary Campus Update | March

These students will play an important role in guiding their peers and helping to create a positive school culture

What an action-packed few weeks it has been in our primary school! With so many exciting events taking place, our students have been showcasing their determination, resilience, and school spirit in and out of the classroom.

Getting sporty

It has been an impressive lead-up to Sports Day, with students giving their all in pre-events. Long Run Day tested endurance and perseverance, and we could not be prouder of how our students pushed themselves to go the distance while also supporting their peers.

Meanwhile, our swimming lessons and lunchtime swimming program have been making quite the splash, with students developing their water confidence while enjoying the warmer weather.

Naplan practice

In the classroom, our Years 3 and 5 students have been putting in their best efforts during NAPLAN practice tests, building their skills and confidence in preparation for the assessments ahead.

Welcoming Ms Ward

A special mention to our 2/3 class, which has a welcome addition with Leila Ward completing her third-year teaching placement alongside Miss Chivers. It has been fantastic to see Leila engaging with students and gaining valuable classroom experience.

Student leadership

Another big highlight was celebrating our new student leaders during the Leaders Induction last Friday. These students will play an important role in guiding their peers and helping to create a positive school culture-qualities that will shine through on Sports Day this Thursday!

Warm Regards,
