Stage 1 Outdoor Education | Bushwalking Camp

Week 4 saw Central Yorke and Ardrossan Area School Outdoor Education students embarking on an unforgettable bushwalking camp to the stunning Mambray Creek in the southern Flinders Ranges.

Over three days, students challenged themselves physically and mentally as they hiked through rugged terrain, camped under the stars and immersed themselves in the natural beauty of the Australian landscape.

Skill Building

The camp provided students with the opportunity to build on their outdoor skills, including navigation, camp cooking, teamwork and environmental awareness.

Carrying their own packs and working together to set up camp each night, students developed a strong sense of independence and resilience.

A+ for effort

Each students’ effort over the three days was outstanding, creating many memorable moments throughout the camp. A huge congratulations to all students for their positive attitudes, teamwork and determination throughout the camp.

Mambray Creek offered the perfect setting for challenge, growth and adventure – and our students certainly rose to the occasion!
