Central Yorke School and Yorke Peninsula Soccer has great joy in congratulating Shayla McKay on being selected to represent South Australia as part of the 2018 Ultimate Fiji Cup. The Tournament will be held from the Sunday December 2nd to Sunday December 9th In Fiji and is an important component of our Talented Player Pathway. To be selected for this honour Shayla has had to trial in 2 regional camps and perform at the State and State County championships. At all of these events Shayla has impressed with her strength, agility and focus. Football Federation of SA coaching staff members comment on Shayla’s ability to predict strategic placement and defend strongly. In both State championships Shayla has been a member of the YP team which is playing the male competition and nothing has been able to get past her defence!
