Primary music has been focused on the ‘Music Is Fun Band’ performance and learning the songs so we could fully participate in the show. We have also learned how to use the ‘Sampler’ keyboard in Garage Band. The takes a recording (of a voice or other sound) and plays it back over a complete keyboard. Students are now composing songs using different sampled sounds. The Year 2/3 and 4 class continue their recorder and ukelele studies and have learned new songs and notes. The R/1 classes are learning about scales and how to play them on glockenspiels, xylophones and the Boomwhackers.
