The Premier’s Reading Challenge has been running for 17 years. In 2019 132,252 students from 706 school completed it with an almost 97% completion rate.
In 2020, Premier Steven Marshall challenged students from Reception to Year 12 to read 12 books by 4 September.
With COVID restrictions, some of the requirements around the books were relaxed and deadlines adjusted.
