This year, the Festival of Music organisers had to reluctantly make the decision not to hold the usual series of concerts at the Adelaide Festival Centre. Instead, they produced a film showcasing the talents of SA schools, the Festival orchestra and the dance troupe.
The choir students were then invited to rehearse and perform their choir repertoire at a ‘Sing’ movie premiere hosted by Ardrossan Area School on Wednesday September 23rd.
The two choirs combined for the sing along movie event, bringing popcorn and special treats for the occasion. They watched the movie, sang along with the songs, sang their prepared solos, cheered when our schools appeared on the screen and shared a morning with the AAS students.
