On Thursday May 26, CYS students Lily Davies, Sophie Burrows, Alice Butler and Caitlyn Tape participated in the SYP netball SAPSASA selection carnival, which was held in Minlaton. With only four students nominated from our school, we combined with Ardrossan Area School, providing a great opportunity for students to make new friendships.
Initially the day was looking very gloomy, but the sun decided to shine, allowing for a fantastic dry day and perfect conditions to play netball in. The eight students played really well as a team, winning five out of the seven games, a fantastic effort.
