Congratulations to the YP Concert Band for their success in the Open Band section of the Balaklava Eisteddfod.
The band placed first, earning a gold medal for their three-song program which included ‘Songs of the Sea’, ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’, and ‘Under the Sea’.
The adjudicator commended the band for its dynamic range, lyrical sound, and strong rhythmic playing, and expressed gratitude to the band for presenting an entertaining and musical program.
We extend our thanks to our adjudicator, Mr. Rice, for all your valuable feedback, and to the Balaklava Eisteddfod committee for organizing this significant community event.
Additionally, we’d like to express our gratitude to all the students, staff, and community members who performed in the band, as well as the parents who assisted with transportation.
