The 2025 CYS School Leaders’ Induction Ceremony was held on Friday February 28 in the Tim Tuck Performing Arts Centre.
Duwan Smith gave the Welcome to Country with the School Choir leading the singing of the National Anthem. Special guest speaker was Grace Maloney and Old Scholar the Hon Emily Bourke MLC sent a special message.
During the ceremony students were inducted to leadership positions in the SRC, House Competition, SAASTA Team and the Music Program..
Closing remarks were made by Charlotte Nixon the Student Voice Coordinator followed by the new Head Prefects Rhys Heinrich and Kirene Newchurch. A morning tea was served afterwards courtesy of Michelle in the Canteen for inductees, their families and invited guests.
