The Adelaide University’s Open Music Academy Big Band visited CYS on Wednesday. In the afternoon they ran a workshop with our choir and instrumental students. The workshop explored conducting, improvisation and song writing and with the help of Dr Julian Ferraretto and University student mentors, we composed a piece of music about Maitland.
