The class have also been reading ‘Winda the Owl’, a Narungga Dreaming story.
Students have developed their Narungga language skills through different learning activities including counting 1-10, greetings, animal and birds, playing card games, songs, making books and design and technology.
Everyone made their own Winda the Owl mask and as we were creating, students were talking with Sonya about the meaning of the story and the Narungga language words that are used in the Winda the Owl Dreaming story.
