We had a fantastic turnout for our 2018 Fathers Day breakfast! Dads (and grandads) spent the first lesson joining in STEM activities in the classrooms, building bridges, gigantic towers and aluminium ships. Many tasks had a competitive side and dads rose to the challenge of floating the most marbles, answering the most quiz questions, creating the tallest paper-cup tower and guiding their Bee-Bot robot through the solar maze. The primary classes and their visiors then headed to the Ag Block for a breakfast BBQ. Coordinator Scottt Moore thanked the guests for sharing their children’s learning and declared the BBQ open. Thank you to all our dads for their support, to the P & F for the BBQ and to the primary teachers for opening their classrooms.
