We are well underway with the planning of the combined Aboriginal Power Cup/SAASTA Shield.
The Carnival will start in the afternoon of Wednesday 18th November and proceed into the evening with a variety of team sports. It will be mix of 9-a-side AFL games plus a Careers Expo as part of the Aboriginal Power Cup. The Carnival will culminate with an Awards Evening that incorporates Dinner and a Student Formal.
Stage 2 students have been focusing on developing their leadership skills through training sessions with the Stage 1 students.
This term we invite community members to a morning tea to celebrate student’s success in SAASTA. Stage 2 students will collaborate to organise the event and keep photographic records of their individual role and responsibility within planning the morning tea.
This week we have our Port Power workshop where Port Power will run a training session. The level of engagement will allow our team to gain points for the APC, students are keen to show them the skills we have been working on.
