New calves

Our calves are arrived from the Dublin markets last Tuesday (May 1), courtesy of Mark A Carter & Co. The calves are being raised by the Year 6-8 students who are rostered on to feed them each day. Today the JP students had a special visit to help with the bottle feeding. Our calves are called Roxy (female) and Ireland (male) known as Ira for short.
Our Year 6-8 students will be learning all about cattle breeds, raising calves and beef and dairy production this term as well as getting very involved with the hands on experience of feeding our new arrivals
