Concert Pianist Visit

On Thursday October 31st. the R-2 students of the Point Pearce Campus were entertained by Panos Karan a Greek Concert Pianist. He has performed to audiences in the Sydney Opera House and Carnegie Hall. Panos is a humanitarian and runs a program called ‘Music Beyond The Concert Halls’ whereby he travels around the world performing and sharing his music in remote and isolated communities.
He has recently performed to villagers in the Amazon rainforests, Japanese tsunami survivors and villagers in Sierra Leone. Our children enjoyed him sharing his keyboards with them.

Some of them helped him play songs on his keyboards, and then the R-2 Class performed a dance and song for him. He really enjoyed our hospitality “It was a huge privilege to play for your students. I enjoyed meeting everyone, and I feel so blessed to have experienced the hospitality of your teachers and students’.
