On a cool, sunny Tuesday afternoon, the Year7/8B Agriculture class hosted a group of little visitors at the Ag Block.
Our guests were the children from the Early Learning Centre – over twenty children ranging in age from one to five! A few of the children came from farms with livestock, but for the majority, this was a brand new experience.
Some of our guests were very brave and had a go at patting the calves, touching the wool on the sheep and combing the goats. We were very careful to keep little fingers away from the mouths of the hungry pigs!
A huge well-done to the 7/8B class for providing such a fun and informative experience for the ELC children.
