The Receptions worked with the Year 1 class to celebrate Chinese New Year. We looked on a world map to find China and learnt that it is part of Asia. Chinese New Year celebrations go for 15 days! It is celebrated with a special meal of dumplings and a lantern festival. We practised our cutting skills to make our own lanterns using red paper as red symbolises good luck. Don’t they look great!
