Congratulations to Lynarha Newchurch for becoming the Maitland’s inaugural ‘Young Citizen of the Year’.Lynarha was nominated for her work as Head Prefect, as an ambassador for women’s football and her leadership in both the school and the Point Pearce community. She received her award from former Australian and South Australian cricketer and coach Andrea McCauley. Congratulations also go to Maitland’s Citizen of the Year, Lyle Schulz for his work in promoting the Yorke Valley as a tourist destination and his community service in the CFS.
