The YP Vocal Ensemble rehearses every week from 5pm on Wednesdays at Central Yorke school in the PAC. Students involved represent Ardrossan Area School, Central Yorke School, Maitland Lutheran School and Kadina Memorial School. Our Captain for 2021 is Sophie Davies from Central Yorke School (Year 8) and the group is accompanied by Mrs Liese Gorden and conducted by Debbie Schwartz. At the Maitland Show the ensemble had its first performance. We performed Advance Australia Fair, and ‘I See Stars’, which featured soloist Ashlee Radford (Year 10) from Kadina Memorial School). I think we did really well and it was a lot of fun. Thank you to Mrs Schwartz for organizing the performance and to Miss Townsend for supporting us.
