On Wednesday June 1st a group of Year 7/8 students participated in a basketball carnival, held at Minlaton. The boys were coached by Mr Millward, finished top of their pool, and played against Harvest in the final.
After a hard fought game, the boys came away second best, however they showed excellent sportsmanship and teamwork all day.
The girls were coached by Ms Congdon, a good win against Yorketown in their first game set them up for a very successful day, having won all four of their games and being awarded the winners of the Year 7/8 girls. Thanks to everyone involved, especially Elly Johns for scoring and Xenos Petch for umpiring.
