The SRC wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to all those who supported and participated in the SRC MND fundraiser held on Friday, September 22. The commitment and contributions from everyone involved have helped in making a difference in the fight against Motor Neurone Disease (MND), a condition that has affected many lives undeservedly. Head Prefect Harrison and JP teacher Sarah Atkins enlightened us on the impacts of MND, reminding us why efforts like these are paramount.
Thanks to everyone’s generosity, we raised a little over $550. These funds were donated directly to the MND association to support their continued work in research, raising awareness, and aiding those living with the condition.

A big shout-out to Michelle Gatti for generously allowing the use of her canteen for this cause.
Our appreciation also goes to Mrs Davies, whose delicious cupcakes added sweetness to our event and to Mr Tuck, who provided the PA system and managed publicity, helping us reach more people.
The enthusiastic encouragement from all the staff significantly fuelled the day’s success!
