Congratulations to all those students who have represented CYS at sporting events of late.
YP Zone Year 7-9 Girls Knockout Football Team,
Maggie Moore and Rovina Newchurch represented CYS. Their team was made up of students from various schools across YP and made it to the round prior to the grand final. They did extremely well, playing as a team and demonstrating fantastic skills and teamwork.
SYP Track & Field
This was held at Santos, Mile End.
Our Southern Yorke Peninsula finished 1st in division 2, which is a fantastic achievement.
Eva Palin (100m-8th, 200m-7th, 100m relay-3rd), Olivia Adams (1500m-2nd, 800m-4th, 100m Relay-3rd), Louise Roennfeldt (100m Relay-4th) and Michael Stevens (Shot Put-5th) represented CYS. Amazing Achievements!
YP Zone Year 8/9 Basketball Teams
The boys and girls team competed last Wednesday and teams are through to the next round.
Dylan Chapman and Summer Davies represented CYS.
