The year 9 class, as part of their food business unit, took part in a workshop with local business man Daniel Newchurch from Newchurch Family Farms. The students were challenged to create a salsa using at least two native ingredients that Daniel grows on his farm. Some of these ingredients included: desert lime, lemon Myrtle, bush tomato and native thyme. We would like to thank Daniel for attending, it is great connecting with local people who can share their experiences in the food industry.
