The Point Pearce R-2 class had a deadly time on their school camp at Dhilba Guuranda-Innes National Park. Nharangga Park Ranger and family member Uncle Dion was there to show us around and tell us about the Nharangga peoples connection to the land and Shara Rigney told the story of Buthera’s Rock to the kids and Warooka Primary Schools R-1 class who joined us along with the Point Pearce Preschool for a day exploring the park. The students had a great time staying at Stenhouse Bay Hall where they played lots of games, ate too many smores and spent a lot of time exploring country. We were very excited to be welcomed to the park by 22 baby garrdi!
