Six Central Yorke students visited Adelaide Uni Roseworthy campus on Friday October 18 as part of Pork SA’s initiative to engage more students in the pig industry.
An excellent day saw students testing piglet bloods for colostrum levels, identifying sows uterus’ for defects and learning the importance of bio-security in farrowing sheds with the current situation of African Swine Fever at our doorstep. Thank you to Ashley, Lochie, Shayla, Hannah, Steph and Josie for representing CYS in such a professional and engaged manner.
