Connecting, collaborating, and growing leadership skills with student leaders from across the Yorke Peninsula.
Moonta Area School recently hosted student leaders from Yorketown Area School, Minlaton District School, Central Yorke School, and Ardrossan Area School for an immersive day focused on connection, collaboration, and leadership growth.
Students participated in team-building challenges, discussed what leadership means to them, and engaged in open conversations about the strengths and challenges of leading in small country schools.
A special thank you to Carlee from Yorketown AS for leading a valuable session on leadership wellbeing, reminding everyone to lead with heart and prioritise self-care.
The day concluded with a delicious shared lunch, generously provided by Capella’s in Moonta, who made us fantastic pizzas. Nothing brings leaders together like great food and company!
