At Central Yorke School, learning extends far beyond the classroom. Our Special Programs provide students with a wide range of opportunities to explore their interests, develop practical skills, build confidence and connect with their community through meaningful and engaging experiences.

From Agriculture and Garden to Plate programs to music ensembles, cultural programs and inclusive learning opportunities, students from Birth to Year 12 are encouraged to discover their strengths, pursue their passions and develop skills for the future. Many of our programs are supported through strong community partnerships and regional collaborations, helping students connect their learning with real world experiences and future pathways.

Whether students are performing with the YP Concert Band, participating in SAASTA and SAASTA Connect, learning through the Yorkes Ag Alliance or developing hands on skills through Agriculture and Garden to Plate, our Special Programs help create a vibrant and connected school community where every student has the opportunity to thrive.
