On Friday, 8 May, Central Yorke School proudly took part in “Do It For Dolly Day”, a national initiative promoting kindness, inclusion and awareness of the lasting impact of bullying on individuals and communities.
As part of the day, students participated in a special lunchtime activity in the Wellbeing HUB, where they coloured blue butterfly templates and added their names to create a collaborative display. The completed collage was showcased in the Wellbeing HUB as a symbol of the school’s support for the “Do It For Dolly” message and a reminder of the importance of kindness within the school community.
The activity encouraged students to reflect on how small acts of kindness can make a positive difference and help create a safe, supportive and caring environment where everyone feels valued and included.
