Our Reception to Year 6 students enjoyed a fantastic Wheels Day, developing their riding skills, tackling challenges and enjoying an active day with friends.
Our Reception to Year 6 students had a fantastic time participating in Wheels Day on Friday 11 September, bringing along their bikes, scooters and rollerblades for a fun-filled day of riding and challenges.
Our Reception to Year 2 students enjoyed a supervised obstacle course at school, while our Year 3–6 students walked to the Maitland Pump Track for structured riding sessions and skill-based activities.
There were plenty of smiles as students showed off their wheels, tackled the challenges and enjoyed being active with their friends. Students also enjoyed a shared morning or afternoon tea with their groups.
A huge thank you to Naomi Bowley for organising and running such a wonderful day. Thank you also to the staff who came along to help, our Year 9/10 students who guided and encouraged our younger students, and our local police for safely guiding us to the track and supporting us throughout the day.
