Aboriginal Veterans (SA) visited Point Pearce on Friday May 4 to conduct a special service to honour and commemorate military service of Aboriginal veterans from the Point Pearce Community and surrounding districts. Held as part of the Point Pearce 150th Anniversary celebrations, 15 CYS Aboriginal students in Years 6,7, 8 & 9 served as Guards of Honour and assisted with the service. Both visitors and community members expressed admiration for the respect and maturity shown by all involved.
