To promote greater collaboration and creating stronger connections between the two campuses of Central Yorke School, the Early Learning Centre and Reception class visited the Point Pearce Campus to explore their learning environments and to develop strong relationships between educators and children.
Floorbook reflections
The following is an extract from the floorbook in the ELC reflecting on our visit.
On Wednesday the 3rd of April, the CYS Preschool and Reception class went for an excursion to CYS Point Pearce Campus. We boarded the big yellow bus and Mr Trevor drove us to Point Pearce where Mr Love greeted us on arrival.
We were all so excited by the large, inviting outdoor play space that we quickly began to explore. There were so many exciting new things to do….there were new dress-ups to try on, a challenging rope walk, a rock wall to climb and big slides to try out….just to name a few!
Have a look at how busy we were!
After a big play the preschool children sang songs and had a picnic lunch together. The preschool children had such a great time at the Point Pearce preschool, playing with our Point Pearce friends.
Thank you Mr Love and the Point Pearce educators for having us, Mr Trevor for driving us and to our parent helpers, Rosie, Krystal and Kelly.
We can’t wait for our next visit!
