Learning Together, Making a Difference
Primary Assemblies are held each Friday. We celebrate success, learning and birthdays and do special activities together. This term we’ve presented merit cards, birthday cards, literacy certificates and Harmony Day certificates. We’ve shared classroom learning, Harmony Day videos and some of the dances we’ve learned with Mrs Cripps.
Sports Day Javelin events were held on Monday, March 6.
The R-1 students made Gingerbread Men from templates and added a movable wheel using a split pin so he could ‘ride around’. They learned how to take focused photos on the iPad and how to delete the ones that weren’t very good. They then placed their Gingerbread Men around the class in action poses, took photos, and selected their best ones for the video.
The ELC students made this video to educate older students about the rubbish appearing in their playground.
The Year 9 Performing Arts created these armature characters and re-enacted the story of ‘Phisbe and Pyramus’ (the play-within-a-play from Shakespeare’s ‘A Midsummer’s Night Dream’) as an animated video.
