It was great to see all of the teachers heading down to Point Pearce for Meet the Teacher on Tuesday, 25 February.
We have lots of new staff this year, so it was a great opportunity for them to visit the campus and meet community members. Thanks to all the families who came along and met their children’s teachers. It’s a great way to get to know each other in an informal setting. Staff who had never visited the Culture Room were very impressed with all the photos and memorabilia and they saw the rich history of the community firsthand. It was a great event and I know our students love to show their teachers their home and for many of them the school and Preschool where they spent their first 5 years. I know our students really value the time they spent at the Pt. Pearce Campus and they love revisiting their old classroom and talking about their memories and experiences.
