June was an exciting month at Point Pearce with our Learning on Country students lucky enough to see the installation of the platform and osprey nest they had constructed at Hollywood Beach. The platform, concrete block and nest were flown from the Point Pearce Oval to the beach by helicopter — quite a sight to behold! It was a wonderful event involving the Friends of the Osprey, the IPA Rangers, the Northern Yorke Landscape Board, the school and interested community members.
