Reception/Year 1 students explored the Agriculture block as part of a hands on learning experience.
Students decorated explorer hats before visiting the pigs, feeding chickens, tasting mandarins, counting tomatoes in the Foodladder greenhouse and observing the school’s new show steers. The session concluded with students harvesting carrots from the garden.
The activity supported observation, counting, sensory learning and connections with the school’s agricultural programs.
