Central Yorke School students participated in the ACE Future Studios Program in Adelaide, coordinated through Adelaide Contemporary Experimental.
Accompanied by Miss Nixon, students visited a range of exhibition spaces including Art Gallery of South Australia, Floating Goose and JamFactory. Students also toured the Fine Art facilities at University of Adelaide and participated in a printmaking workshop.
Students worked alongside Aboriginal creative Bryce Cawte at Pirltawardli, creating coolamons from River Red Gum as part of a hands on cultural and artistic experience. Throughout the week, students continued developing experimental artworks that will later contribute to an exhibition at ACE.
