Year 9/10 students developed practical goat husbandry skills.
Year 9/10 Agriculture students have begun preparing the school goats for the Adelaide Show through a range of hands-on learning activities.
Students have practised washing, blow-drying, grooming and leading the goats, while also taking responsibility for their daily care. This has included cleaning the goat shed, refilling feed, cleaning water troughs and regularly weighing the animals to monitor their health and development.
The students will continue refining their skills as they prepare to showcase their work and the school goats at the Adelaide Show later this term.
