This year’s National Reconciliation Week theme was ‘Be Brave. Make Change’.
Primary students worked on class activities and our Friday assembly acknowledged the contributions and achievements of Eddie Mabo. Secondary students heard from Kay Lawrence, our Aboriginal Secondary Education Transition Officer (ASETO) who shared with students some stories of bravery and change that she has experienced, her work with students of all ages, and what Reconciliation means to her.
