Junkyard Beats across the School

Students engaged in rhythm, creativity and collaboration through whole school music workshops

Students from Reception to Year 8 took part in Junkyard Beats workshops, using everyday materials to create music and explore rhythm.

Primary students in Years 2 to 6 demonstrated strong teamwork and enthusiasm as they worked together to build performances, showing confidence and creativity throughout the session.

Year 7 and 8 students further developed their skills, transforming everyday items into instruments while demonstrating collaboration, confidence and a willingness to try new experiences.

Students at the Point Pearce campus also participated with high energy, showcasing rhythmic creativity and strong engagement.

Across all year levels, the workshops supported teamwork, active participation and creative expression, with students responding positively to the hands on experience.
