National Youth Parliament

Rhys Heinrich will represent Grey at the National Youth Parliament.

Year 12 student Rhys Heinrich has been selected to represent the electorate of Grey at the inaugural National Youth Parliament in Canberra.

Delivered by the Department of the House of Representatives in partnership with Y Australia, the program will bring together 150 secondary students from across Australia.

Over five days in August, participants will take part in simulated parliamentary debates, workshops with political leaders and policy discussions, developing their understanding of Australia’s democratic system and the work of Parliament.

Rhys’s selection is an outstanding achievement and an opportunity to represent both Central Yorke School and the wider Grey electorate.”
