Students achieved strong results and demonstrated pride in competition
Students competed in the Secondary Interschool Athletics Carnival, representing Central Yorke School with determination and pride.
Harrison Wilson achieved strong results, placing third in javelin and discus, and second in both triple jump and shot put. Benjamin Turner-Castles secured third place in the 1500 metres, while Kirene Newchurch placed first in discus and second in both shot put and javelin. Rhys Heinrich achieved first place in shot put, and Katrina Bennett placed third in hurdles.
The day highlighted strong individual performances alongside teamwork and sportsmanship, with students supporting one another and striving to achieve their personal bests.
