SAASTA Connect and Stage 1 SAASTA students visited the Saltbush Country Exhibition at the Ascot Gallery in Kadina. Guided by Molly Flanagan, students engaged with artworks and discussed how the themes could inspire their own creativity.
They also viewed works by Narungga artists Aunty Lynette Newchurch and Aunty Deanna Newchurch, which provided a powerful connection to local culture and history. The excursion highlighted the importance of art as a form of expression and cultural learning.
