Student leadership strengthened through participation in state forum
Duwan Smith represented Central Yorke School at the South Australian Rural Youth Ambassadors Forum in Adelaide.
Nineteen Year 11 students from regional schools across the state came together to share their experiences, build leadership skills and discuss the opportunities and challenges faced by rural communities. Over several days, students explored ways to strengthen access to education, wellbeing supports and future pathways for country students.
Duwan will continue working alongside fellow ambassadors throughout the year, contributing ideas and perspectives to support the future of rural education in South Australia.
